Plouay and the surrounding area are particularly attractive from a cultural point of view: you’ll find an abundant religious heritage, with no less than nine chapels nestling throughout the territory:

In terms of nature, there are plenty of family walks to be enjoyed, particularly along the banks of the Vallée du Scorff (a famous river in our region), designated as a natural site of European interest. In Plouay, you’ll also find the Domaine de Manehouarn, an area entirely devoted to leisure activities: walks, mountain bike circuits, all-sports park, skate park and three ponds for endless fishing parties.
As you can see, Plouay is a great place to spend some time. Its proximity to the towns of Lorient, Pont-Scorff and Port-Louis is not without flavour, and the Morbihan coastline is probably one of the most beautiful in France, with its rugged relief and rocky coasts.
